Sunglasses can be worn either way, right?
We decided to take the opportunity on such a nice Saturday to head to the zoo!
What fun we had. We saw:
The elephants. They were even doing an "elephant show" when we got there. The elephants did some tricks, like walk around in a line holding each other's tails, the baby elephant even stood on a stool for us on one leg. Jacob clapped for all of their tricks.
The gorillas. Jacob liked these animals especially. He liked watching them through the glass...as long as they didn't get too close. Brad even got measured to see how he would "measure up" to a full-sized male gorilla.

The polar bear. He was doing laps in the pool. He'd swim right up to the glass, press his nose against it, and then push off from the side of the pool. We thought this was really cool.
We ended our trip to the zoo by letting Jacob play at the playground there. We're looking forward to when it's warmer and we can enjoy the splash park at the zoo. However, we aren't complaining because today was perfect weather for the zoo. What a fun family outing!

That is a cute picture of Jacob on the slide! His smile says it all! What a great day to spend at the zoo, glad you had fun.
I love the sunglasses, my how he has grown! What a cute kid.
Happy Mother's Day!
Looks like fun, so did you get to have a date night saturday? How was it? Hope you had fun :o)
I love the glasses! It will be fun when Camarae is old enough to enjoy these kinds of activities. The animals at the zoo you went to look like they are use to entertaining the people who come to look at them.
isn't the zoo fabulous? I think we will go today!
