Biker Boy

Recently we bought Jacob his first bicycle. He still has the training wheels as he doesn't really know how to ride yet without them. He thought this was pretty cool.
He likes his 'lellow' bike quite a bit and even likes his helmet. In the beginning when he got tired of riding the bike he came over to me and told me that with his helmet on, it didn't hurt to bonk heads so he wanted to bonk his head to mine to prove this. Then he talked about how much this was like the football players and showed me how they would tackle people and run into them head first, but that with a helmet on, it didn't hurt. He's so observant with things like that.

When we first got the bike he wasn't very good at getting started if the pedals were not in the right position. But over the past few weeks he's gotten much better. He can even go up small hills. He's growing up and becoming very independent. I think he makes a pretty cute 'biker' boy!

I know what you are going to be doing this summer. Even better you are in a cold-a-sack (I don'tknow how to spell it). MOre room to ride and less cars. Sweet!

I bet he is already riding around like a pro on his new bike. Camarae can't wait until she gets a bike she talks about it a lot, even to the neighbor lady.

That's funny. She could go ahead and get one now and just use the training wheels for awhile. We started with a little tricycle, but he rides a bike much more easily.
