Hard to believe it's been seven years since Brad and I were married. Luckily, neither one of us have had the "itch". We celebrated our anniversary on July 6th. One of Brad's co-residents and his wife, Adam & Carolyn, agreed to watch Jacob for us while we went out. Even though Brad was on call, we got to enjoy the evening with no interruptions. We went to our new favorite restaurant (our favorite when we're going for something more upscale than Wendy's - that is) Texas Roadhouse. (Thanks Carley for the recommendation!) It has great steak for not a whole lot of money - and Brad sure LOVES his meat and potatoes! We thought of a wonderful tradition. We would like to take a picture of ourselves for each anniversary to remember what we did each year. The only problem is, we decided this after 7 years of marriage and we decided it while we were at the restaurant, without our camera. So instead, we have a wonderful photograph of us in our kitchen with one of the gifts Brad gave me for our anniversary.
In looking back on our photos from years and anniversaries past, we noticed that the shirt Brad is wearing in this picture is the exact same one he wore for our date on our FIRST anniversary. (Does that tell you anything about how often we update Brad's wardrobe? Apparently, after 6 years, this is still his nicest shirt - sad, huh!) Unfortunately, we don't have a digital copy of that picture, or we'd post it too. Maybe he'll wear this shirt again next year, just to keep up the tradition! Anyone have a scanner they are willing to let us use, so we could post that picture as well? (Is this against blogging etiquette???)

Congratulations! Way to go. We enjoyed reading about Brad's wardrobe, too. Coby and I were laughing and laughing, probably because your story hits so close to home about each of our wardrobes.
Sorry it's a little late, but Happy Anniversary! That is wonderful! It just keeps getting better doesn't it?
