Easter!!

We had a whirlwind Easter weekend. Being this close to family has pros and cons. Sometimes the same pro is also a con. Holidays are like that. We love being near our family, but it makes for very hectic holidays. On the Saturday before Easter we had two, yep, two Easter egg hunts. One for the Jones side and then one for the Smith side.

Here are all 13 Jones grand kids together. It seems like awhile since all of the kids have been together. Unfortunately, Uncle Russ is out of the country so we still didn't have everyone there, but we got close.

Jacob found one in the bush.

Look high, look low!

Since Brad had the camera at his parents' house and he was following Jacob around, we didn't get any pictures of Levi hunting at their house. So, these are pictures of Levi hunting at my parents' house.
I found an egg...and I know what to do with it! Watch out 'cause it's going to be thrown your way!
Sunday morning we let the kids go hunting for their baskets at our house. Jacob was very 'helpful' in pointing out to Levi where his basket was.

Jacob was pretty excited to find his basket in the bath tub.
Love the grin here :) Memory, Pez, and some Playdough. He couldn't have been happier. We figured with all the candy they got from the two Easter egg hunts the day before that they didn't need much candy in their hidden baskets.

Then we got to have Easter brunch. Jacob loves to do 'cheers' with his cup.

Brunch was so good. Cinnamon rolls (they were Rhodes brand), scrambled eggs with cheese, fresh fruit, and a drink. Yum!
Easter was good this year. Such a nice day to spend remembering the resurrection of our Savior. Yes, that's the real reason we do all of this fun stuff, to remember that He died for us, but more importantly, that He has risen and lives again!
