Christmas preparations

Every year there are a few things we do in our family that have become our Christmas traditions. One of those things is to attend a party our church holds every year to celebrate Christ's birth. We had a great dinner served.
Jacob's favorite part of dinner is dessert. We had a friend's birthday celebration the same week as this party and now every cake Jacob refers to as "birthday cake". He was in heaven with this cupcake!

After we ate we got to have a music program, which I got to participate in. The kids enjoyed just dancing to the music, and Jacob was right there in the middle of them.

After the music program was over, we were visited by a special person...that's right, Santa Claus!

We had put Jacob in his PJs since it was past bedtime and we were
hoping he'd fall asleep on the way home. He's also very attached to this hat!

Then this weekend we also prepared to send out our yearly Christmas letters. Here's a sneak peak at the preparation for the picture to our Christmas cards.
What Christmas traditions have you participated in lately?

We got your cute christmas card today. You all look great! I am so excited for you to have a job back home! Lots of exciting things going on in your life!!
We enjoyed our ward christmas party recently too. You've got to love a night off from cooking. Dinner tastes good even though its not completely cooked just because you didn't have to make it or clean up!!

We loved the Christmas letter...you are so creative! The family picture was adorable. Congratualtions on the good news, I didn't know you were expecting another little boy! We're hoping to move to Missouri in July as well so maybe all our boys can be buddies!
